Jam vs Toffee

There is currently an advert showing where a woman is being asked to make a choice between Jammie Dodgers and Toffee Dodgers.

I have a couple of thoughts on this:

Firstly why are people trying to create a conflict between Jam and Toffee, they have been living peaceably together for many years now, why open old wounds.

Now my main concern, Toffee is at an unfair disadvantage here, let me explain why

Jammie Dodgers are called so because they have Jam in them, Toffee are so called because they have Toffee. To make it a fair fight it should be either

Jam Dodgers vs Toffee Dodgers,or

Jammie Dodgers vs Toffeeie Dodgers.

Finally if you are wondering whether I prefer Jammie of Toffee Dodgers, well my taste runs to both.
