Cuckoo Clock

BBC Breakfast News – Apparently there is a particular group who are going to be adversely affected by the clocks going back – Birds, yes that’s right birds.

How does that work then, it seems they will be confused by the clocks going back and will not know when to eat so we will need to feed them.

Try as I might (and I’m not stupid, silly and inane sometimes, but not stupid) I cannot understand this.

Surely for millions of years birds have just coped with the changing of the seasons and the lengthening and shortening of days, but not any more, now they need help.

Of course they are the only animal that has a clock named after it, maybe that is part of it.
